If genuineness is to have real power, forms should have resonance, which I believe is generated by self-growing force. By concentrating on the intimate density of brush strokes more than their external shapes, I tried to push, pull, close, crush and break the force, (sometimes) modulating it as if twisting a straw rope and (other times) rendering it clear and pure like a danso(Korean bamboo flute) melody.
Before the canvas, I not only broke and dislocate the composition more and more as in the field of life, or rather, intentionally, but also made both colors and touches oppose one another, until they are shattered and smashed, to create the inherent power, which would send out life force. Among other things, I increased the materiality of the paint as vividly as possible in a degree that it became as fresh and strong as a scale.
